Children with Diabetes is an organization that aims at providing thorough education and constant support to children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. Their website is a source of information checked and updated by a group of experts in this field. It enables exchanging questions and answers concerning all the crucial issues surrounding living with diabetes.
You too can play a crucial part in this project by sharing your experience concerning type 1 diabetes and alcohol use.
How can my experience be useful?
By sharing with us what problems concerning safety and diabetes management you encountered while drinking alcoholic beverages, you can make a difference. This way we can notice most common issues and possibly resolve them. Since this is a global study and is going to reach many people, there is a chance that you are not the only person that struggles with it.
Where does it all lead to?
Translating all this data into appropriate conclusions and identifying problems together with what might be causing them can become the basis for development of new recommendations for alcohol consumption by people with type 1 diabetes. Making your life easier and safer is what we aim to achieve.
